April 12th… Spring Shred-a-thon
Come join us as you get rid of your sensitive documents in a safe and convenient process that ensures your protection from identity theft while helping the environment in another East Manatee Rotary Club eco-focused project. Of course all proceeds will be used to fund the many local and international projects that we support…how’s that for a win-win.

Nothing has been set yet, but we should be able to come up with something eco-focused for this.
May 5th… YMCA Fundraiser Dinner
This is an outstanding opportunity for our club membership to support the Parrish Community, establish a working relationship with the local Y, improve our club’s public image and community awareness, and enjoy fellowship together as a group of Rotarians…all at the same time.
June 5th & 7th... Service Above Self Awards
Each year we reward some of the exceptional fifth-graders at Williams Elementary and Gullett Elementary with the Service Above Self awards to recognize outstanding civil performance.
June 8th... Installation Dinner
The 2012-13 Installation Ceremony inducting the new officers and board members for the upcoming year will be held at Annette and Rich Zang's home this year.
June ??... Adopt-a Road Clean up
Every three months we clean-up a 1 ½ mile section of 60th Avenue East, between US 301 and Mendoza Road We coordinate our clean up dates to coincide with the Great American Cleanup and Florida Coastal Cleanup events; thus maximizing local awareness while participating in a larger cause
