Hey gang! October 3rd we have a special guest, Kum Hey gang! October 3rd we have a special guest, Kumu Ramsey Tuan, who is recognized as a cultural resource sought after keynote speaker, leader, trainer, and facilitator! He is a practitioner for several native Hawaiian practices as well as his role in Hawaii’s sustainability! Come join us in person! This will be a pot luck event located at Revolusun. Kakaako garden work day is just around the corner! Kakaako garden work day is just around the corner! Join us September 24th from 9-12. We will learn how landscapes and hard scales can help prevent water pollution. We will be getting our hands dirty from weeding, planting and composting, so bring gloves if you have them! Tell your friends, invite your coworkers, and brin Tell your friends, invite your coworkers, and bring your family to tree planting on Saturday, September 16th, from 9am-11:30am at Haleiwa Legacy Forest next to Haleiwa Starbucks! The folks at the Hawaiian Reforestation Legacy Initiative will be guiding us with tree planting every step of the way. Below are the full event details:

Help Plant Trees O'ahu Date: Saturday, September 16th, 2023
Time: 9:00 - 11:30am - Arrive on time as you may have to take a shuttle to the work area.  About the service day:  250-300 holes will be prepared by HLRI field crew for planting.  
Volunteers: 20-30 volunteers are needed for this event.
Location:  56-250 Kamehameha Hwy. Kahuku, HI 96762 - Hawaii Legacy Forest 
Parking: Parking attendant will guide cars to the parking area.
